The PNG chooses Houston for its 3rd PNG Day!
The Professional Numismatists Guild is the preeminent numismatic dealer organization in North America and they annually hold by-invitation-only shows associated with the Summer ANA and Spring Central States Numismatic Society shows.
The addition of a winter show in Houston in association with the Money Show of the Southwest benefits all those collectors in the southwest region of the United States who attend. Since the PNG dealers also stay for the Money Show, it instantaneously upgrades the quality of inventory and selection available at the show.
PNG Day is Wednesday, December 2nd, with dealer set-up starting at 12 noon and invitees welcome from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.n.
The Money Show starts on Thursday with dealer set-up from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The show then opens for the public at 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The show also announced that on Thursday afternoon it will host “Businessmen’s and Businesswomen’s Afternoon at the Money Show.” Throughout the afternoon, experts will present their views of the various aspects of investing in rare coins, rare currency and bullion as additions to a balanced portfolio. The idea is to give those people in Houston’s business district an opportunity to learn about the subject before they leave for the suburbs. Then in Hall E they can see examples of rarity at the over 200 dealer booths and at the Heritage Auction Galleries lot viewing.
